With pride, I present my first photograph in the interpretation of painting, created by Agnieszka Mantaj.
Image size 40×60 cm, painted with acrylic paints on a canvas. This is the first work of Agnieszka, which is (hopefully) part of a much larger project, which we prepare together.
The scene shows feeding of the Black Tern’s chick (Chlidonias nigra) at sunrise.
Although chick is already full grown, flying and able to hunt alone, however, at dawn, hungry after a whole night, calls parents to feed. Driven by instinct and protectiveness parents feed their juvenile.
The photography was taken in Poland, in the valley of The Oder River.
